How high should my loft be for a conversion?
Your roof joists will need to offer a height of 2.3 metres to the apex for conventional attic extensions. If they aren’t this high, then further work may be needed to make the extension practical.
Who needs planning permission for a loft conversion?
This will depend on the age and location of your home as well as the scope of the loft conversion – for example, whether a dormer will be added or not and whether side-facing windows will feature. Suffice it to say that we can help you at every step of the loft conversion process whether or not permission will be needed.
How will I access my Attic conversion?
Typically, we’ll install stairs from the first floor to the loft that comply with building regulations and fire safety standards. If you want a lift, then let us know and we will work this into the plans.
Can Lanext Construction convert my bungalow's loft?
